The Now Testament - Part 2

Now testament
Created as inspired on the 7th of July 2016
(A daily knowledge of God as revealed by the Holy spirit through the very challenges we face)

The Vision age
Chapter 2

1.       Then God revealed his love to the whole world, sent his only son to die for us all, but as usual, not many believed, people tried to analyze as they analyzed the creation of the world
2.       How did it start? Could word produce life? Who did God marry? How could he have a son? Mortal men trying to analyze the person of our Great God, so he made a mockery of their wisdom and revealed it to babes and lifted them from their low state
3.       Those who knew that the knowledge of God could not be gotten from science or philosophy, for as many as received Him, to them he gave power to become His sons
4.       Having adopted them according to his foreknowledge, those who would be called according to his name
5.       They accepted him and beheld his glory and as much as they saw, they gladly told the story of God’s goodness and grace revealed through His Son
6.       To the wise seemed foolish, to the foolish revealed as the wisdom of God
7.       That whosoever believes would not perish but have everlasting life; Those who were dead lived again, those who lived would never die
8.       And as usual our minds could not phantom the concept of eternal life, the truth became corrupted with philosophy of men and a mental interpretation of His word
9.       And then he lamented, ‘if the son of man shall come, shall he find faith on earth’
10.   Lazarus raised from the dead, the blind received sight, the elements of nature bowed to His lordship, how quick could that have been forgotten how that even Death lost its sting and grave its captives
11.   For he held the very captivity captive, and gave gifts to men, hell with all its woes couldn’t stand the glory of the risen son, they bowed at the mention of his name
12.   That same wonder working spirit being given in measures to all who believe
13.   In bringing many sons to glory he made the author of their salvation perfect through suffering
14.   The process of the old and new testimony was God revealing himself to us: And now we having the same spirit of faith believed and so we speak
15.   Women receiving their dead back to life, men being held captive by sin set free by the power of God, in every generation, people who experienced through that very process, process of faith, from rejection to honor, from poverty to plenty, from sickness to health, from torment to peace
16.   We all who have received him could testify of this very thing, that he who began a good work, is able to save to the uttermost because he lives forever interceding for us
17.   Some of us are still in that process of knowing, for the knowledge of God could not be grasped in a lifetime
18.   Everlasting life is a timeless limitless space of understanding the dynamics of God, for every facet of revelation comes with great victory over that challenge
19.   But what the devil offers is an exchange, temporary pleasure for a journey of knowing, capitalizing on the weakness of our flesh, he often has his way
20.   But those who won’t give up, the righteous falls seven times, and seven times he rises as he, the devil fails to understand that’s the concept of redemption, there’s no fatal failure for a child of God
21.   For God is revealed in and through every experience, like air, his omnipresence is felt, we can’t survive long without Him: Knowing that in Him we live, in Him we move, In Him we have our being
22.   And this is what is amazing
23.   That we,  to whom the son has been revealed, with an unveiled face, as we behold him in a glass, we become changed to his very image

24.   And very soon, as we triumph over the god of this world:  We will know as we are known.

THE NOW TESTAMENT

Now testament
Created as inspired on the 7th of July 2016
(A daily knowledge of God as revealed by the Holy spirit through the very challenges we face)

The Vision age

Chapter 1

1.       Most times we spend so much time in prayer asking for God to reveal Himself to us, the most high God who is responsible for existence both spiritual and physical
2.        The mightiness of one who holds a great thunder bolt in his hand and rides on a white horse, our mental picture could only go a distance, we could never sketch the personality of God
3.       Nevertheless, even with creation, the world couldn’t phantom the reality of His existence, His presence at the cool of the day and his glory made visible at night
4.       Then His loud voice spoke to Abraham, “walk before me and be thou perfect”, for only those who walked before Him could grasp the very concept of his person after they’ve experienced a process and known him in a particular dimension
5.       Out of Abraham’s loins, he called a people, those who would be custodians of his presence, flawlessly delivering them from Egyptians God was a testimony that he was the greatest; guiding them through the wilderness was a testimony that he was a provider
6.       The Israelites understood God’s person in a particular dimension but Moses wanted more, known as the meekest man alive God gave him a shot, because only the meek could have come that close, he saw God’s back and wrote mysteries of the beginning of creation he had never witnessed
7.       Joshua and Caleb walked closely, they knew that nothing was impossible with God but the older men got so used to their circumstances that they forgot the greatness of God
8.       Same as Job who needed to be reminded as he couldn’t utter a word in defense as God spoke
9.       Enoch walked closely with God and was translated without death for He was ‘not’
10.   David understood how good a shepherd God could be, whose love is without condition for every experience was a revelation of God he could only describe in his psalms
11.   From the animals in the wilderness to the animal in the palace, his life was in God’s hands. He learnt in courage and fear that God’s always there and nothing could separate from God’s Love; for his mercies endures forever and the expanse His love cannot be measured in units
12.   Solomon knew that God owned the riches of this world and nothing could be compared to his presence, having tasted the momentary pleasure to the fullest, he understood that all was vanity in God’s sight
13.   For heaven and earth will pass away, but God’s word will always remain
14.   Down to the prophets, Elijah and the likes, they all had their stories and experienced a dimension of God that was peculiar to their journey with God
15.   Calling down fire, raising an army from dry bones and seeing the glory of the age to come from a distance they wrote
‘For I will pour out my spirit on all flesh, says the Lord, the young shall see vision, the old shall dream dreams, sons and daughters shall prophesy’, the beginning of a  new age

Conference 2015 - Rise He Calleth Thee

Rise He Calleth Thee,
When the call of faith rises up to God, his call of faith reaches down to us. Where the call of faith and grace meets, miracles takes place. Desperate deserves desperate outcry for succor and desperate remedy. This was the situation in this 2015 conference theme. This son of Timaeus case had lasted and extended so wide that he has become stigmatized. He lost his real identity and became identified by his ugly situation. When I was younger and had little knowledge of the scriptures, I thought the man’s name was ‘blind’ and his surname ‘bartimeus’. Bar(Grk) means ‘son of’ while  Timaeus was the surname, meaning ‘son of Timaeus. He was identified with his blindness and people began to refer to him as the blind son of Timaeus. But, his condition was to change by not only having Jesus pass his way but by also responding to the Lord’s presence and call. Every move of the master is purposeful. He came to seek and save, he came to set the captive free, he came to comfort the mourners, he came to give sight to the blind to restore hearing to the deaf and heal the broken hearted, he came to announce the acceptable year(time, period) of divine grace.
He came to change your story, he came to re-write your history. Jesus the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb 13:8). He passed the needy son of Timaeus way yesterday, today he is passing your way, never miss the moment by religiosity. Shift away the crowd and their noise and gain his attention.
This man did not go about blaming God for his blindness, he was focused. One thing is paramount to him – to regain his sight. He had heard of Jesus Christ the son of david in the Sunday school, that when he comes he would deliver the bound, show mercy and heal the sick. How long he must have waited for the scriptures to be fulfilled on his behalf. The day came and he was not going to let anything, the crowd, the devils whisper of impossibility, the past disappointment from priests or doctors, anything within or without – to hinder him from receiving God’s mercy and grace. He cried out to him “who in the days of his flesh…. Offered prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard..” – Heb 5:7. He too like Jesus in mk 14:33-34 was sorrowful and very heavy hearted. Therefore, He cried out to Jesus and said “ Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me”. When charged by many to stop embarrassing himself and the Lord, he cried the more a great deal. Thou son of David, have mercy on me”.
And Jesus, who could not, cannot and never will resist the cry of faith, for mercy for his creatures, “stood still and commanded him to come”.
No, he was never embarrassed. Our desperate cry for mercy never embarrasses him. It’s only our proud hearts that is embarrassed. It is our needless ego that is uncomfortable. No! Never the caring master and lover of our soul. How long he’s been waiting for our response to his call of grace, “come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, I will give you rest” Mat 11:38. The opposers became the messengers of good news, hear them, “be of good comfort, rise: he calleth thee”, “And he, casting away his garment, rose and came to Jesus”
This is your season to rise up from your predicament. Can’t you hear the sweet sound of his voice calling you up? You’ve sat down too long in penury, pain, poverty and stagnation. Rise! He calleth thee. Rise in faith! Accept his mercy and grace by faith.
His upward call is reverberating around the atmosphere. As the blind Bartimaeous did not allow his long, hopeless condition to deafen him from the loving voice of the master, do not allow yours to block your ears from his call. In the kingdom, the process of recovery begins from the ears. Isaiah said “Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live” Ish 55:3. Jesus himself said in John 5:25, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the son of God. And they that hear shall live” faith receives from grace. This faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God” Rom 10:17
Make this season a season of listening, God still speaks. The word of God is quick and (life-giving) and powerful (dynamic). It has the potency to bring life to any dead or dying situation. Jesus will change your situation and identity today if only you can listen and respond in faith to his call.
He has sent me and the team of ministers to you. Our message is simple, “Rise, he calleth thee”. We have vowed to be faithful to him in disseminating this message primarily to you for your good. In Matthews account, which differs slightly from Luke’s and Marks, they were  two blind folks and their cry was “ have mercy on us O lord, thou son of david” mt 20:30. In verse 31 the multitude rebuked them because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, have mercy on us son of david”.
They should hold their peace? Who said so? Religion? The law of decency? Gentility? Where were they all these years that these folks were held down from light, peace and what others have been enjoying? Desperate situation needs desperate remedy. “The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent takes it by force” Mtt 11:12 – Dare to be violent after th order of the kingdom of heaven. Dare to be violent after the order of the kingdom of heaven. Dare to take what belongs to you!
I believe that Matthews account is never contradictory but explanatory. The blind son of Emaeus is the historical patient of Jesus day in the flesh while the second is anyone of any age and generation who will hear his voice and Rise up in response – You and I.
“AND JESUS STOOD STILL”

Arrested by the faith of the needy, Jesus stood still. Arrested by the cry of a desperate man, Jesus stood still. Paralyzed by love, in response to cry for mercy, Jesus stood still. In defiance of the multitude Jesus stood still. In pursuit of his purpose on earth, Jesus stood still. “And Jesus stood still and called them and said, what will ye that I shall do unto you? They said unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened, so, Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes and immediately their eyes received sight and they followed him”. Mtt 20:32 – 34

GOD DOES NOT EXIST?

This argument continues and I felt the urge to put things into perspective maybe for myself and one other person. Christians refer to God as the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority – the Supreme Being. In classical theism, God is characterized as the metaphysically ultimate being (the first, timeless, absolutely simple, and sovereign being who is devoid of any anthropomorphic qualities). Despite extensive writing on the nature of God, these classical theists did not believe that God could be defined. They believed that it would contradict the transcendent nature of God for mere humans to define him – that must be why God gave Moses the simple and most effective definition: “I am”, because we can form no idea of Him except in so far as that idea is analogous to something which comes within the range of our own experience. Existence is commonly held to be that which objectively persists independent of one’s presence – that which exists is with an objective reality, so it dispels subjectivity. Epistemology is the investigation of what distinguishes justified belief from opinion; it studies criteria of truth, defining “primary truths” inherently accepted in the investigation of knowledge. The first is existence. It is inherent in every analysis. It is self-evident, a priori (knowledge or justification independent of experience) nature cannot be consistently doubted, since a person objecting to existence according to some standard of proof must implicitly accept the standard’s existence as a premise. A very scintillating discourse, which begs the question, how then is it possible that God does not exist?
Atheists generally maintain that arguments for the existence of God provide insufficient reason to believe. Additionally, some contend that it is possible to affirmatively disprove the existence of God, or of certain characteristics traditionally attributed to God such as perfection – Perfection, is broadly, a state of completeness and flawlessness. The word perfection derives from the Latin perfectio, and perfect from perfectus. These expressions in turn come from perficio – to finish, to bring to an end. Perfectio (n) thus literally means a finishing and perfect (us), finished. The genealogy of the concept of perfection reaches back beyond Latin, to Greek. The Greek equivalent of the Latin perfectus was teleos. The latter Greek expression generally had concrete referents, such as a perfect physician or a perfect social system. Hence, the Greek teleiotes was not yet so fraught with abstract and superlative associations as would be the Latin perfectio or the modern perfection. To avoid the latter associations, the Greek term has generally been translated as completeness rather than perfection. The oldest definition of perfection, fairly precise and distinguishing the shades of the concept, goes back to Aristotle. In Book Delta of the metaphysics, he distinguishes three meanings of the term, or rather three shades of one meaning, but in any case three different concepts. That is perfect:
a.       Which is complete – which contains all the requisite parts;
b.      Which is so good that nothing of the kind could be better;
c.       Which has attained its purpose.
The first of these concepts is fairly well subsumed within the second. Between those two and the third, however, there arises duality in concept. Thomas Aquinas, in the Summa Theological, expressed this duality when he distinguished twofold perfection: when a thing is perfect in itself – as he put it, in its substance; and when it perfectly serves its purpose. Flipping through history of our scientific and technological advancement, we decidedly continue to strive for perfection with our numerous discoveries and innovations. However, since concepts of perfection are connected to notions of God and we cannot seem to accept that which is perfect, how then do we recognize or relate to perfection? Our race was always designed to innovate and discover, but it doesn’t make what we do or don’t discover exist more or less. Faith is not mere concept of the notion of God, but rather it reaches far beyond, because it is the very substance of God – “Those who come to God must believe that He is, and He rewards those who diligently seek Him”.
Metaphysics is a matter about which, most of all, we desire to know the truth, but reason only perceives that which it produces after its own design. The unconditioned does not lie in things as we know them, or as they are given to us, but in things as they are in themselves, beyond the range of our cognition. For that which of necessity impels us to transcend the limits of human experience and of all phenomena is the unconditioned.
If you have gone through books as I have, then you can call this gumption. However, I’m out of my depths here, so I’ll let God handle the rest..

Discovering 'God's Business' for your life - Lk 2:49
At twelve Jesus was zealous after the father's business (vs 42). At that age he first discovered that the father's business begins at the house of God. He had never attended a seminar on how to discover one's purpose in life. He was not searching for God's particular purpose for him as many are rightly doing today. One can be busy searching for his/her life purpose through seminars, buying and reading every book that promises an answer, that time is a waste outside God's plan for his life. Jesus knew where to begin and how to fit into God's plan for his life. Aftee the feast of passover in Jerusalem, Jesus enjoyed it so much that he stayed back with the leaders in the temple, obviously those that ministered in one way or the other during the feast, ''seating in the midst of the doctors, both hearing, asking and answering questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers'' - Jn 2:46, 47. When the mother questioned his action, his reply was simple 'I must be about my Father's business'.
We too must therefore be about our Father's business, this business begins from the church - yes, the local church. Discover what you can do to grow the work in your local church. That is how to begin.

Questions
1. How much time do you give to the fellowship in the house of God?
2. Jesus discovered His father's business and made it his own, what of you?

Prayer
Dear father, I want your business to be mine. Fill my heart with the love for your house. Help me to long for your house like David and Jesus, to behold your face and enquire at your sanctuary. Thank You Lord as i receive the grace this morning in Jesus name.
